Uncorked FAQs

Thank you for joining us at Uncorked Kitchen! We are excited share our unique cooking and dining experience with you. Below are a few frequently asked questions that should make your visit go smoothly. Feel free to contact us at any time if you need more information.

  • How early should I arrive before my event?

The kitchens will be open 15 minutes prior to the start of your event. If you happen to arrive before the kitchens open, we encourage you to check in with our staff to see if the kitchen is ready so that you may be seated and start socializing while you wait for your class or event to begin.

  • What if myself or my child is not able to attend, may I send someone else in my place?

Yes, in the event that you are not able to make your scheduled event you may send someone in your place.

    • Please call Uncorked Kitchen at (720)-907-3838 to notify us of the substitution.
    • For kids classes; a friend or another sibling of appropriate age may be sent in place of your child,if they are not able to attend.
    • We are not able to offer make up sessions for missed or partial attendance.
  • What is your minimum age for events? Can my children/baby attend the event I signed up for?

Unless otherwise specified all adult event participants must be 18 years of age or older. This is for the safety of all of our guests.

Date night style events have a minimum age of 21 years old, and we must also ask for a valid form of ID to serve guests alcohol.

We also ask that for safety reasons you do not bring a baby or toddler in to a kitchen event, for any reason, unless the event is specified for adults and 3 yrs+.

  • I have a food allergy or religious dietary restriction; can you make substitutions or omit ingredients?

Absolutely! We will do whatever we can to accommodate food sensitivities, allergies and dietary restrictions. We ask that you call at the time of reservation to discuss your dietary restrictions. We will consult with our chefs and review our menu to find the best option for your needs.

If a particular class is not right for you, we will steer you towards one that works for you. Please note our kitchens are NOT a gluten-free or nut free environment.

  • My child has a food allergy or religious dietary restriction; can you make substitutions or omit ingredients?

We will do whatever we can to accommodate food sensitivities, allergies and dietary restrictions for your child.

    NUT ALLERGIES:

Uncorked Kitchen is not a nut free facility. Any nuts that are on site are stored in enclosed containers. All pans, pots, bowls, etc are run through our ware washing machine which reaches sanitizing temperatures during the cycle. In the classes most recipes we select allow the option of including or excluding nuts and we set up for each child accordingly. For the birthday parties NONE of the recipes include nuts.

OTHER FOOD ALLERGIES OR RELIGIOUS DIETARY RESTRICTIONS:

We also try to accommodate children with other allergies like milk allergies, sesame, soy, etc. As long as you let the Uncorked Kitchen staff know when you register your child that there are food allergies or dietary restrictions like no pork or no shellfish we will always try to find a substitution for the student unless the recipe restricts it.

It is VERY IMPORTANT that you indicate these issues when you register your child for classes or events at Uncorked Kitchen.

  • What should I wear to my event?

We recommend that participants wear closed-toe shoes to class and to dress appropriately for a cooking environment. Open-toed shoes, and flip flops are not allowed to be worn during events. We will provide an apron for all participants to use during the event.

  • If we don't drink, can we bring in our own non-alcoholic beverages for our event?

No, unfortunately we cannot allow guests to bring in their own outside beverages. If you are joining us for an event that includes alcohol, please reach out to our team and we can help you enjoy some non-alcoholic beverages provided by our staff the night of your visit.

  • Do I need to bring anything with me for my event?

Just your sense of adventure and willingness to participate. At Uncorked Kitchen we provide everything you will need to prepare a gourmet meal including the apron!

  • Is gratuity included in my event purchase?

Gratuities are not included in any of our public event ticket prices. Gratuity is not required but is always appreciated by our culinary team. If you would like to leave a gratuity for your chef instructor please bring cash or ask to open a tab for chef gratuity at our wine bar. Gratuity may also be added at the time of your event purchase.

  • Do you sell gift cards? Are gift cards refundable?

Yes! Uncorked Kitchen gift cards in any denomination may be purchased online, over the phone or in person at Uncorked Kitchen.

Our gift certificates may be redeemed for food, beverage or event programming.

Gift certificate purchases are final and are non-refundable.

  • Do you have parking?

Yes, our parking is plentiful and free! Park directly surrounding our building on the North, South or East sides.

  • Can I have a family member or friend sit in the kitchen with us and watch while we enjoy our event?

Our policy is that anyone in a kitchen must be a paid participant in an event. Unfortunately we would not be able to allow another guest to relax in the kitchen if they were not a participant. We do have large glass windows that if your guest would like, they are welcome to sit outside the kitchen and watch your event take place through the kitchen windows.
